To begin a project, I ask that you send five to ten good jpgs of the home from several angles and, if possible, at different times of the day to allow me to assess shadows. From these, I will recommend which shot or shots lend themselves best to the drawing of the structure and the surrounding landscape. Once we have agreed on the photograph, I will give you a time frame for completion based on how much other work I have at the moment; once I begin, the average project takes five days to complete. I will also send photos of the drawing at different stages as it progresses.
Charges range between $350 and $950, depending on the complexity of the home or landscape, for a 15” x 11” (or 11” x 15”, depending on orientation) original watercolor and ink drawing on fine French Arches watercolor paper. Optional note cards are created from the drawing and come with a Crane & Company envelope for $3 each, with no minimum. I also offer optional custom-cut mats at $25 each.
As I do all of my own printing, there is no lag time between c0mpletion of the project and delivery.
Packaging, shipping, and handling are a flat rate of $20. Two Bees Design Studio also retains ownership of the image for advertising purposes, never divulging your personal information or the location of the home.
